Summer Wind Farms Organic Garden Plants
We’re working farmers who still grow for chefs, grocers, and families—and we bring that same know-how to your home garden. Unusual varieties, dependable classics, and always USDA Certified Organic.
For four generations our family has made a living growing real food. Long before we ever sold a single garden plant, we were out in the fields growing fruit and vegetables for grocery stores, restaurants, and the people who cook for a living. We still do that today—and that experience shapes everything we grow for home gardeners.
We choose varieties the way a chef chooses ingredients: for flavor first. Too many garden plants are bred to be cheap or cute instead of delicious. Because we work directly with food professionals, and if we must say so, we are a family of accomplished home chefs, we know what actually tastes good on a plate, and those are the plants we want you to have in your garden.
Along with trusted classics, we grow an ever-changing collection of unusual, hard-to-find varieties that make gardening fun again. Every plant we grow has been USDA Certified Organic since 2013, and we’re here to show that growing organically can be simple, practical, and deeply rewarding. If you’re going to grow your own food, it should be worth eating.
